GH3536 High-Temperature Alloy Round Bar

GH3536 High-Temperature Alloy Round Bar

GH3536 (equivalent to UNS N06002, Hastelloy X, W.Nr.2.4665) is a nickel‑chromium‑iron‑molybdenum solid‑solution strengthened superalloy designed for high‑temperature service up to 900 °C long‑term and 1080 °C short‑term.

It features excellent oxidation resistance, moderate creep strength, good formability, and weldability, widely used in aero‑engines, industrial gas turbines, petrochemical furnaces, and high‑temperature structural components.

Key Characteristics

  • Outstanding high‑temperature oxidation resistance up to 1200 °C.
  • Good medium‑to‑high creep and stress‑rupture strength below 900 °C.
  • Excellent cold/hot workability and weldability; no post‑weld heat treatment required for most applications.
  • Stable microstructure and good resistance to carburization and sulfidation in harsh industrial atmospheres.
  • Good machinability in the solution‑annealed condition.

Production & Product Forms

  • Manufacturing processes: vacuum induction melting + electroslag remelting; hot forging, hot rolling, centerless turning, peeling, polishing.
  • Product condition: mainly solution‑treated (1090–1120 °C, air cooling).
  • Surface: black, peeled, turned, polished; customized upon request.
  • End types: plain ends, machined ends, threaded as required.
