Steel thickness is the most critical inspection standard for overseas guardrail projects. Many overseas buyers face rejection risks due to insufficient material tolerance caused by non-standard thin gauge guardrails.

Nominal Thickness: Labeled theoretical thickness, but some factories use under-tolerance steel, which is thinner than marked. This kind of guardrail cannot pass international project inspection and is not suitable for export.
Actual Full Thickness: Export standard thickness with tolerance controlled within ±0.05mm. All materials are full weight without under-tolerance, which meets AASHTO, EN1317 and global highway project requirements.
Overseas projects strictly require actual thickness checking by caliper and full container weight checking. Only full-thickness guardrails ensure stable crash resistance, tensile strength and road safety performance. Under-tolerance guardrails will be rejected during customs clearance and project acceptance.

We only supply full actual thickness export-grade guardrails. All thickness specifications are available with mill test certificates and third-party inspection support.
