Different global climates require different guardrail specifications. Improper selection leads to early rusting, coating failure and short service life. Here is the professional climate-based selection guide for global buyers.

1. Coastal & Island Areas
High salt spray, high humidity and strong UV radiation. 1100g/㎡–1200g/㎡ heavy zinc coating is mandatory to ensure 15–20 years service life. Double anti-corrosion (galvanized + powder coated) is recommended.
2. Tropical Rainforest Areas
High temperature and frequent rainfall. Standard 600g–800g zinc coating and professional moisture-proof packaging are sufficient for long-term stability.
3. Desert & Arid Areas
Strong sand wind and extreme sunlight. Thick steel plate (3.0mm–3.43mm) and high-adhesion zinc coating are required to resist sand abrasion.
4. Cold & Snow Regions
Low temperature, frost and de-icing salt. High-toughness prime steel and uniform galvanized layer prevent brittle fracture and low-temperature corrosion.
We provide customized guardrail solutions according to local climate, road conditions and project standards for every overseas project.
