Its section is I-shaped, consisting of a web and top/bottom flanges with sloped inner surfaces and unequal thickness. It features simple structure, good bending resistance, and convenient processing & installation. With high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface, and good weldability, it is widely used in building beams, workshop supports, machinery bases, vehicle frames, and medium-small steel structures for mainly vertical loads and moderate spans.
