Este producto es acero plano laminado en caliente, fabricado a partir de acero estructural al carbono de alta calidad mediante laminaci\u00f3n en caliente. Presenta una secci\u00f3n rectangular de dimensiones regulares, superficie plana y espesor uniforme. Destaca por su buena resistencia a la flexi\u00f3n y a la compresi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como por su excelente soldabilidad, facilidad de corte y taladrado. Gracias a su alta precisi\u00f3n dimensional y a la ausencia de defectos evidentes, como grietas, inclusiones de escoria o pliegues, se utiliza ampliamente en estructuras de acero, fabricaci\u00f3n de maquinaria, soportes de bastidores, piezas de ferreter\u00eda, vallas, bases, piezas estampadas y componentes met\u00e1licos, siendo adecuado para aplicaciones que exigen altos requisitos de resistencia, planitud y facilidad de procesamiento.<\/p>\n
