Hastelloy X es una superaleaci\u00f3n de n\u00edquel-cromo-hierro-molibdeno. Esta aleaci\u00f3n posee resistencia a altas temperaturas, maquinabilidad y resistencia a la oxidaci\u00f3n. La resistencia a la oxidaci\u00f3n de la aleaci\u00f3n X es asombrosamente alta, alcanzando hasta 2200\u00b0F. Adem\u00e1s, se ha observado que esta aleaci\u00f3n de acero al n\u00edquel presenta propiedades antifisuraci\u00f3n por corrosi\u00f3n bajo tensi\u00f3n en aplicaciones petroqu\u00edmicas. La dureza de base proporcionada por el contenido de molibdeno da lugar a una aleaci\u00f3n de soluci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida con excelentes caracter\u00edsticas de fabricaci\u00f3n y alta resistencia. Aunque esta aleaci\u00f3n de n\u00edquel Hastelloy X es fundamentalmente conocida por su resistencia al calor y a la oxidaci\u00f3n. Tiene buena resistencia al agrietamiento por corrosi\u00f3n bajo tensi\u00f3n por cloruros, propiedades de carburaci\u00f3n y resistencia a los ambientes reductores o de carburaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n
